Teach Your Kids English And African Languages With “Teseem”

teseem app

A company called Lizzie’s Creations just launched a new app called “Teseem – First Words” and it is basically designed to teach toddlers their first words. Be it in English or a host of other well known African languages.

The app has educative animations that make it easy to use so kids can learn fast and even use the app on their own. It’s so cool that, apart from being able to learn English, the app also offers kids the opportunity to learn words, numbers and colours in English and other African languages (including Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, etc).

The founder of Lizzie’s Creations, Elizabeth Kperrun Eremie, says Teseem is a Tiv (a local Nigerian language) which literarily means “Teach Me”. She also stated that more African languages will be added to the numerous list of available languages in the coming months.
